i’m finally back!!!!!

It’s been three weeks since I’ve posted anything onto my blog, and while that time has been filled with schoolwork and more schoolwork, I am finally ready to come back to blogging!!! I’m sorry for disappearing for three weeks without any warning, but I didn’t want to come back when I wasn’t ready and I also didn’t know what to post and I wanted to come back prepared!!

Hopefully this will be my last hiatus for a while, but if it’s not don’t get too mad at me…

So to ease my way back into things, I thought I would help my newer followers get to know me a little better.. the girl behind the blog!* I realized that many of you don’t know me well, and I want to change that! If you want to do this tag yourself, it’s by Debbie @ My Random Musings! It’s me. I’m the girl behind the blog. 

1. What’s your name? 

My name is Gianna!! And I don’t know if you know, but that is a pseudonym, and its not my real name… My real name isn’t actually Gianna, although that is a nickname for me and I get called that a lot.

2. Any nicknames or aliases?

Uhhh…. Gianna? I don’t think I have a nickname..?? But Gianna is a nickname for my real name.

3. Your gender?

I am proud to be a female!!

4. Your star sign?

I’m a GEMINI!!! But you probably knew that already, because my blog is literally called Gianna & Gemini. Anyways, us Gemini’s are amazing and should stick together.

5. How old are you?

Ummmmm.. I am old enough to have gotten my driver’s license*, and that is all I really feel comfortable saying!!

*And yes, I GOT MY LICENSE!!! I wrote this post months ago and never gave an update, but yes, I got my license and did not even have to retake the test!!!

6. Your relationship status?

Single.

7. Any children?

No… I’m a teenager and I don’t plan on having children any time soon. BUT when I do… I really want to adopt one of my children!!

8. Any pets?

YES, actually! I have two beautiful parakeets named Barbie (boy) and Julius (girl). We named Julius before we knew that she was a girl, but we’ve all kind of accepted the name Julius as the name for our beautiful girl parakeet.

They’re both one years old, and are both too adorable for their own good. They talk all the time and make for very good company.

9. Any tattoo or piercings?

I have two ear piercings, and I got my second one for my most recent birthday!!! It was something that I had wanted for a while, so I am very happy to have done it despite being so nervous.

10. What do you like about yourself?

UGHH, I hate when I get asked this question… because I don’t really know..? As much as I do it sometimes, talking about myself still feels odd. If I had to pick, I’d say I like my creativity and the effort that I can put into things that I care about.

11. What do you dislike about yourself?

For some reason, this is much easier!! I don’t like how I can be really impatient at times, and how I can sometimes stress myself out just through my thoughts.

12. Righty or Lefty?

I am PROUD to be right-handed!!

13. The last thing you drank?

The last thing I drank was water and Snapple Half n’ Half!

14. The last thing you ate?

Fun Fact: I’m writing this part of the post as I’m at school during a Study period, so the last thing I had was lunch! I ate a sandwich and an apple, and it was yummy and satisfied my hungry self.

15. Your last phone call?

I don’t really talk on the phone a lot, but the last person I called was my brother to help him find his phone because he lost it. It didn’t really help because his phone was on ringer…. so yeah.

16. Your last text message?

It was to a good friend on mine and I asked: “where are you??” because we were meeting up to hang out together and I couldn’t see where she was through the crowd!!

17. Your last email?

I don’t really send emails to people much, so I can barely remember the last time I sent an email..But I receive around 50+ emails in a day, and I don’t open any of them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

18. Your last song you listened to?

The last song I listened to was: Waving Through a Window from Dear Evan Hansen. I have been obsessed with this entire musical recently and all of the songs make me so happy!!!! Ben Platt and Jordan Fisher singing will always make me happy :))

19. The last book you read?

I am currently reading The Sun is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon!!! I absolutely love this book so far, and I’m really scared of the ending because it’s so obvious what’s supposed to happen.. BUT I DON’T WANT THE ENDING TO HAPPEN.

20. The last time you cried?

I recently watched All the Bright Places, and the ending had me crying so much. I feel like I should have expected the ending, but I did not and as soon as it happened I was crying and for some reason, I was very mad at my computer until the end of the movie.

But at the same time, I definitely recommend it!!! 10/10 it was amazing despite bringing tears to my eyes, so you should definitely read the book AND watch the movie!!!

21. The last blog you read?

It was by the amazing and wonderful blogger, May @ My First Chapter, and it was her post Blogging and Me- our toxic relationship.  I really loved it because I was able to really easily relate with everything that she was saying, and because I just loved what she was saying and really enjoyed the topic! DEFINITELY read her post.

Just hearing people talk honestly about things that they’re having issues with or things that makes them happy makes ME happy just by reading it!!

22. The last person you spoke to?

My mom and dad.

23. The last place you visited?

 I actually just got back from school!! Very happy to be home again.

24. Your last holiday abroad?

I haven’t traveled since I was fifteen when I went to Washington D.C for school trip, but I wouldn’t really count that as a vacation..?? The last real vacation that I went on with my family was when I was five or six to also Washington D.C

But… I’m hoping to go to Germany with my mom this summer!!! *fingers crossed*

25. Have you ever gotten back with an ex?

No.

26. Have you ever been cheated on?

No.

27. Have you ever been cheated on someone?

No, and I never plan to. I don’t like the idea of knowingly hurting someone that I care about. If I really feel the need to not be in that relationship, being honest is easier than cheating and going behind their back.

28. Have you ever lost someone special to you?

Yes. Last year, my best friend moved a 1,000+ miles away and… we were very close so it’s hard to realize that I will never see her in person again.

29. Have you ever been so drunk you threw up?

I am an UNDERAGE teenager and that doesn’t sound fun to do…?? Maybe it’s just me but I’d rather not get so intoxicated that I’m literally throwing up soooooo

30. Have you ever fallen out of love with someone?

No.

31. Have you ever met someone who changed you?

Probably, but I can’t really think of one person in particular who has had an affect of me. But there’s probably a lot.

32. Have you ever been in a situation where you found out who your real friends are?

Fortunately, no. I have fallen out of close relationships with people, but I am pretty sure that’s normal and happens to everyone.

33. Have you ever kissed someone you probably shouldn’t have?

No.

34. Have you ever found out people were talking about you behind your back?

Unfortunately, yes. A really good friend of mine once told me that people were talking about me, and she was really kind and supportive during that. I never found out what they said, but it broke my heart and shattered it into a million pieces the moment I found out people were doing that.

So always be kind to people, from experience I can tell you honestly that NOBODY deserves to feel that way!!

35. Have you ever broken someone’s heart?

I hope not.

36. Have you ever kissed a stranger?

No.

37. Have you ever had your own heart broken?

Yes, but not from real people, it’s from those horrible movies!! Although they are definitely pretty amazing if they’re able to make me get connected with the characters and be devastated when they die.

38. Have you ever sex on the first date?

No.

39. Have you ever been arrested?

THANKFULLY NO. I have not been arrested and hopefully I will never be.

40. Have you ever been attracted to someone that isn’t the gender you usually find attractive?

I thought this was a normal thing? I mean, everyone should be able to tell when someone is attractive and looks good.

41. Have you ever done something you regret?

YES. I probably have anxiety and am constantly overthinking my decisions at times and making it 100x bigger than it actually is.

42. Have you ever had a threesome?

No.

43. Have you ever embarrassed yourself in public?

Yes, countless times.

In fact, many times this week I can remember the multiple times that I have tripped going up the stairs randomly.

44. Have you ever misjudged someone?

I am pretty sure that I have, although I can’t really remember a certain moment. Everyone jumps to conclusions and makes their own thoughts before they know the whole truth.

45. Do you believe in God?

I…I believe that there is some higher power somewhere, but I am not sure if it’s necessarily a “God”. There’s something and it doesn’t have to be some immaculate being… but if I’m being completely honest..

I don’t know what I really believe. At the moment it’s a bit hazy.

46. Do you believe in yourself?

I’d like to say that I do. But sometimes I definitely know that I have doubt, but most of the time?

47. Do you believe in Santa Claus?

Does anybody believe in Santa? I’m pretty sure at a young age we all learned that our parents were pretty good at lying and keeping secrets from us.

48. Do you believe in ghosts?

I’m going to say no.

49. Do you believe in aliens?

We don’t know how much of the Earth is undiscovered, so there could be some life form living somewhere, and that to me is pretty amazing!! Although I don’t think that they are the weird green monsters that we see in the movies.

50. Do you believe in miracles?

Miracles happen, and I definitely believe that they’re real, and even though they are unexplained they do happen and we shouldn’t doubt them.

51. Do you believe in power of positive thinking?

YES. Good things can happen to people who want good things to happen. Always waiting for the bad things might make you miss the good things. If you’re constantly negative, it can become unhealthy and not be good for a person mentally.

52. Do you believe in love at first sight?

No. You can be attracted to someone at first sight, but I don’t believe that you can fall in love with someone that easily.

53. Can money make you happy?

Yes!! Money can help you buy lots of things that you enjoy and can take you to so many places! But I don’t think that money is the only thing that can make you happy, there are so many more things besides the things that you buy that can make you happy.

54. Would you describe yourself as a feminist?

DEFINITELY YES. All people deserve the chance to be treated equally and with respect no matter their skin color, or what they look like.

55. Are you pro-life or pro-choice?

Pro-choice. Please do not attack me for this decision, it’s my opinion and I don’t mean to offend you with it.

I just don’t think it’s a choice that should be denied to anyone, especially because we’re all in different situations.

56. Do you have strong political beliefs?

I understand what’s going on with politics and I try my best to keep myself informed with everything, but I also try to stay out of everything.

57. Do you have strong religious beliefs?

I was born into a religious family so I grew up with religion, but overtime I’ve found my own beliefs and have figured out what I want to put my trust into.

58. What do you think the most important think you can give to a child is?

Love, Support, Stability, and people who care about them!!! Children deserve people who care for them and people who would do anything for them.

59. Are you eating anything right now?

No.

60. Are you drinking anything right now?

No.

61. What are you listening to right now?

Grey’s Anatomy is playing in the background as I type this and it’s MAKING. ME. SO. HAPPY.

62. What are you thinking about right now?

I’m thinking about how Dr. Amelia Shepherd (grey’s anatomy reference!!!) is crazy to do this surgery on impulse and how I am enjoying just answering these questions but how this post is getting INSANELY long.

*As you can see my thoughts are insanely cluttered and messyyy!

63. What are you waiting for right now?

Nothing… really..

64. What are you most excited for right now?

APRIL VACATION which will be coming up soon! I am very ready to be away from school and not think about school.

65. What’s your pet hate right now?

Umm… kind of confused me for a second there, but I think it would be when things take too long too load? I am a byproduct of the 7 second videos that are on social media and TikTok, don’t hate me for it.

66. What’s your favorite thing right now?

The Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack AND the HSMTMTS soundtrack!! I could listen to both of them for hours because they’re both such good music and yes.

67. If you weren’t answering these questions, what would you be doing?

I would want to try out the math problems from my textbook to get some practice in, but honestly I would be watching Grey’s Anatomy in peace with my full attention.

68. Your first best friend?

A girl named Briana, we met in kindergarten!

69. Your first kiss?

I have not had my “official” first kiss yet.

70. Your first celebrity crush?

ZENDAYA ALL THE WAY!! I watched her when she was first in Shake It Up, and I have continued to stuck by her as she has been on TV shows. She has and always will be my favorite. *smiles happily*

71. Your first holiday?

I don’t know what this means….but the first holiday I celebrated would’ve been Christmas.. if that’s what this means??

72. Your first pet?

We had three goldfish. I can’t remember the names of the other goldfish, but mine was named Shimmer.

R.I.P Shimmer, you were a good fish to me.

73. Your first regret?

I don’t remember this, but I’m sure I’ve had regrets before.

74. Your first job? 

I am currently still working at my first job which is a fast food restaurant!!

75. Your first childhood memory?

I remember on the first day of kindergarten I was getting out of the car and someone (i can’t remember who) closed the door onto my tiny little hand, it hurt so much and on my first day I went immediately to the nurses office.

But weirdly enough, I don’t remember crying…?

76. Love or money?

I want love, but I don’t need to be in a relationship with a person. Loving my family and loving my friends would also make me happy.

77. Twitter or Facebook?

TWITTER! I love the conversations that people bring up and the videos there are, it always makes me interested or it makes me laugh.

78. Hookup or relationship?

Relationships!!

79. Dogs or cats?

DOGS! In fact, when I get older I really want a dog of my own hopefully.

80. Coffee or tea?

Neither..? I am more of a water person if anything, I don’t really enjoy coffee I find it horrible and disgusting and I find tea to be really really BLAND.

81. Beer or wine?

I am an underage teenager and for now NEITHER.

82. Sweet or savory?

It depends on my mood at the time, but most of the time I like savory! I love sweets but I don’t prefer them over savory foods.

83. Introvert or extrovert?

I am definitely an introvert!! I love hanging out with my friends and being with people, but after a while I just need to be by myself to recharge and regroup.

84. Vampires or werewolves?

Neither..??

85. Seaside or countryside?

SEASIDE!! I feel like it would be amazing to wake up near the ocean and have the beautiful blue water be the first thing that I’d see in the morning. And it’s very aesthetic and beautiful.. so why not??

86. Summer or winter?

SUMMER. I love the warm weather, and I would much rather be able to go to the beach or be able to have fun outside rather than sitting inside because outside is below zero!! I’m not a fan of cold weather, even though summer can get wayy to hot sometimes.

87. Books or movies?

It depends??? I know book lovers everywhere are probably screaming at me for that, but sometimes I just want to enjoy a good movie and other times I want to snuggle up with a good book!

88. Horror or comedy?

Comedy!! I would much rather be laughing than screaming or waiting for jump-scares, so…

89. Do you wish you could change your past?

No, because even if something bad happened, it probably helped make me the person I a today, and I am very thankful for that! Things in my past could probably change the future and the life that I have today, so I wouldn’t want to change a thing.

90. What’s your dream job?

I DON’T KNOW. I wish I knew what I wanted to work in, but it’s so hard to make such a big choice..? But I might want to be a humanitarian lawyer..? It might not be my dream job, but it’s something that I think I might want to do, because I really want to be able to advocate for people who can’t do it themselves.

91. What’s your guilty pleasure?

I don’t think I have a guilty pleasure, everything I do I do it because I love it and it makes me happy.

92. What are you afraid of?

Being stuck in small places.

93. What was the first thing you wanted to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a fashion designer! I really thought it was something I’d do, and I even drew some of my own designs and created “collections”.

 

94. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

TELEPORTATION. It would be amazing to be able to go anywhere I wanted in literally a second!!

95. If you could change anything about your life what would it be?

I would want to travel more. I have never left the country and I really want the opportunity to be able to travel the world and discover new things and see amazing things!!

96. Would you want immortality?

No, because I don’t want to stay alive while everyone I love dies and ages around me. It would be hard to live knowing that my loved ones are gone.

97. If you could interview anyone alive or dead who would you choose?

ZENDAYA!!! I have loved her and watched her shows since she was on Shake It Up, and it would be amazing to talk to the person that I have idolized for so long!!!

98. Would you say you are happy?

Kinda?? I don’t know. I’m doing okay, I think.

99. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to yourself at age eighteen? 

I’m not even eighteen yet, but okay!! I think I’d tell myself to slow down and take things as they come, because you only live once, so I’d better enjoy it while it lasts.

100. Where would you like to be in five years’ time?

I want to be happy doing what I love with the people I love.
