Gianna Hemsworth is in no way related to the celebrity star, Liam Hemsworth.
You arrived back upstairs to find that all the girls are sitting down, all randomly placed. Some girls are sat down on the bed, on the loveseat couch in the corner, and on the rug.
You quickly go over to the bathroom and knock on the door, before you go into the vacant bathroom and change yourself into your t-shirt and shorts.
Afterwards, you get out of the bathroom and join the conversing group.
As you sit down, you realize that they are all talking about summer- more specifically, summer vacations.
“I cannot wait for the Bahamas, it’s only in two weeks, but like, it’s the Bahamas!”
“My parents are trying to get us to First Class.”
“Since my dad travels for work, he’s letting us come with him to California, Greece, Paris, and maybe Dubai!!”
“I’m going on a 1 month ROAD TRIP!”
Hearing all these people talk about going somewhere just makes you want to scream- not literally though, but maybe literally.
They’re all going on vacations and all, but you’re just sitting here listening to them talk about how awesome their summer is going to be.
This is definitely not High School Musical, no more. No pounding your fists on the table in excitement for school to end, now you’re pounding your fists for your parents to finally allow you to have some summer fun.
But one girl’s words catch your attention.
“Gianna, where are you going to vacation this summer?” asks Rachel, one of the people your grade.
Uhh, uhh… I don’t think that it would be great or alright to say that ” Hey, this summer I’m doing nothing at all, and I’m probably not going anywhere.”
“You know.. I’m not traveling, because my parents are taking us somewhere better next year when we graduate as Seniors.” you tell them casually.
They seem to understand, as Rachel replies saying “Oh cool! Then that vacation better be like, top notch or it wouldn’t be any fun that they’re waiting so long for it.”
You nod, but in your mind you’re thinking about finally making summer plans. You’ve waited too long by sitting on your couch and watching TV shows, but never on Netflix, because why use money on that when you can watch American Housewife?
Suddenly, Olivia claps, getting the attention of all the girls.
She says that if you want, you can go to bed, so you do so. But even so, in the background you can still hear the quiet sound of the TV playing a show, which makes it a bit hard for you to sleep or even relax.
All you could think about how you’re going to have the best summer in the universe of summer’s.
So when you wake up in the morning and eat breakfast, brush your teeth, and change, it’s quite honestly a blur for you.
You simply cannot wait to go home and make that bucket list, the bucket list with all the goals that you will conquer!
This sleepover will be one I will never forget- FOR SURE.
So you walk downstairs and eat look at the kitchen to a table filled with pancakes, waffles, orange juice, water, sausages and hot and steamy scrambled eggs.
But before you sit down and eat, you call your mom, telling her to come and pick her up soon as possible. She replies not even a second later, telling you that she will be coming to get you soon.
You sit down now, and you begin to pile sausages, pancakes, and scrambled eggs onto your plate, afterwards pouring yourself a glass of water. Taking your time, you eat your food, until you get a text from your mom that tells you that she’s pulling into the driveway.
So you stand up and put the empty plate in the sink, you grab your backpack off of the floor next to the chair and you go outside, running to your moms car and getting inside, driving away to your home.
Until next time…
